279 rooms, 12 different types

LIV IN City is the third co-living project we have completed together with LIV IN. This time, the ERGOLAIN team delivered furniture solutions not only for 279 residential rooms but also for the shared spaces throughout the building. The project included 279 rooms across 12 different room types. For these spaces, we produced custom-fitted wardrobes, kitchenettes, headboards, work desks, coffee tables, and bathroom cabinets. One of the key challenges in projects of this scale is adapting recurring furniture solutions to each individual space. Although the rooms may appear identical at first glance, each one requires careful measurement and precise furniture adaptation to fit its specific layout.

Just as much attention was given to the shared spaces of LIV IN City, designed for working, studying, socialising, and relaxing. In the student library, we combined custom-made work tables and bookshelves with BASTION soft seating from ERGOLAIN’s standard collection, bringing bespoke manufacturing and standard furniture solutions together within a single space. For the shared kitchen and dining area, we produced kitchen furniture and a dining table, while also supplying soft seating to create a more comfortable and inviting environment for residents to spend time together. ERGOLAIN solutions welcome residents from the moment they enter LIV IN City: for the reception area, we supplied soft seating and produced a custom-designed reception desk, distinguished by its curved leg detail.

Exceptional expertise required

The LIV IN City project once again demonstrated the range of expertise required to deliver a large-scale co-living project – from producing hundreds of recurring yet individually adapted furniture pieces to creating bespoke solutions for shared spaces. The result is a cohesive living environment where ERGOLAIN furniture solutions accompany residents from the privacy of their own rooms to spaces designed for work, relaxation, and social interaction.
